Summer 7 - Machete

Posted by Brian Tyrrell on

On flimsy wings your panting Noonmessenger arrives. He's late by a few hours, and clearly exhausted. You wonder what's caused him such distress?

"You'll never believe what I just had to deliver. It was massive! Took me, and Jog, Sprout and Billywig to deliver. Heavy it was, and wrapped in cloth and tied with string. Had to fly from Odoak, stamped with the Orebeater's seal and ten other little stamps. If it weren't for a beak-bashing from Postmaster Falks, I would've turned it down! Anyway, here's your letters."

Tool - Machete

Weight 1 and ⅓. Available at Mountain or Forest Settlements. 8 Trinkets.

This weighty, sharpened length of oiled iron helps you cut a path through underbrush and dense branches. When travelling, add a temporary path to the map between two nearby Locations. This Path cannot cross over a loch or a river, and is removed from the Map after you travel across it.

After using the Machete, it must be sharpened at a Settlement (for free) before it can be used again.
